I told you so

Brendan Gaughan got booted from the #77 this week, after a mediocre season that saw him score a lonely top 5 and only a couple top 10s. I'm not gleeful about Penske's move, but I did predict it. Will Travis Kvapil do a better job? He ran strong in the handful of races he appeared in late last season, but like Gaughan, he's coming in as a truck racer with no Cup experience. Seems unfair to stack the deck against these young drivers before they've had a chance to gain experience by running something like Busch Series first. We'll see.
