I HATE THE CHASE

There is just too little importance in the first twenty-six races, and too much in the last ten. Tony Stewart and Jeremy Mayfield both paid the price for this new system by being caught in Robby Gordon's latest stupidity. Tony dropped to eighth in the points when in reality he should still be third. It will even be worse if the new points system allows Dale Earnhardt to claim a championship.
